Dividee Aí on WhatsApp

The Dividee Aí number uses the official WhatsApp API provided by Meta. After sign-in, we link your number to your account to respond to authorized requests. Meta transports the messages and attachments in this conversation. The recent channel cache is retained for up to 24 hours and minimal execution records for up to 30 days. AI memory and records you create in the app follow the other retention rules in this policy. You can disconnect WhatsApp in the app. Bank authorization takes place on the secure Efí or bank page.

WhatsApp with your own gateway

The optional WhatsApp connection uses a gateway you run on your computer or server and pair by QR. WhatsApp credentials stay on that machine under your responsibility. The gateway forwards only messages and attachments from the authorized conversation to Dividee for processing by its tools and the AI providers described in this policy. We retain gateway metadata for access control and revocation; recent channel messages for up to 24 hours and minimal execution records for up to 30 days. Temporary attachments expire within 24 hours; receipts you confirm follow settlement retention. This Baileys transport is unofficial and may disconnect or lead to account restrictions. You can revoke access in Dividee and unlink the device in WhatsApp. Never send passwords, national identity numbers or passkeys in chat.

1. Who we are

Dividee Aí is a Brazilian app for splitting expenses among friends, groups and shared subscriptions, run independently. To reach us: contato@dividee.ai.

2. Data we collect

Account: name, e-mail, phone number and photo (from sign-up or Google or Apple sign-in). App usage: the groups, expenses, splits, settlements and subscriptions you record. Payments between friends: your Pix key (if you add one), receipts you choose to attach and, if you pay by bank through Open Finance, your CPF, required by the payment initiator. Pro subscription: billing is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, with status managed by RevenueCat; older subscriptions bought on the website were processed by Stripe and are no longer sold. We do not store card numbers. Shared subscriptions: if you choose to store them, the access credentials of the shared service (e.g. login and password), encrypted on your device before they are sent. Only the person who created the subscription and the participants they chose can open them; Dividee Aí stores only the encrypted version and cannot read it. Notifications: device identifiers (push tokens) when you turn on alerts. Technical: usage events and error reports without name, e-mail or content (Cloudflare and Expo); in the app, until the next version published in the stores, also usage events (PostHog) and error reports (Sentry); and, on the website, cookieless visit counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics), to improve the product. Dividee AI: messages, replies and notes are stored as private account memory for future conversations.

3. How we use it

To run the app: compute balances, split expenses, tell people who owes what, send invites and the notifications you turn on. For Open Finance payments: start the Pix transfer you authorize in your own bank. To bill the Pro plan. We never sell your data.

4. Who we share it with

Only with the processors the service needs: Cloudflare (servers, database, authentication, files, usage analytics and error monitoring), Meta (transport of messages through the official WhatsApp channel), Vercel (hosting of the dividee.ai website), Supabase (previous copy of the data, kept only during the migration to Cloudflare), Apple App Store and Google Play (Pro subscription), RevenueCat (subscription management), Stripe (older website subscriptions only), Resend (e-mail), Efí (Pix payment initiation through Open Finance, when you use it), Google and Apple (sign-in), Expo (app updates, performance and errors) and, in the app until the next version published in the stores, PostHog (usage analytics) and Sentry (error monitoring). Members of your groups see your name, photo and the expenses shared with them. For Dividee AI, ElevenLabs transcribes audio and generates speech; along with the audio, we send up to 50 friend and group names from your account to improve transcription. Answers are generated by Claude Haiku, directly through the Anthropic API. These providers receive the request and the relevant memory excerpts needed to answer. Conversation history stays in your account’s memory, and no change you ask the AI for is saved without your confirmation.

5. Payments between friends

Dividee Aí does not hold or move your money. With Pix copy and paste, we generate the code and you pay from your bank. If you share a receipt image with the app, its text is read on your device to suggest the debt; the image is only uploaded after you confirm. With Open Finance, the transfer goes straight from your bank to the recipient’s account, with your authorization in your bank or, for biometric Pix, using the credential registered with Efí. Review the recipient and amount before approving. The AI never receives your password or passkey.

6. Your rights (LGPD)

You can access, correct and delete your data. Account deletion is available in the app (Profile) and permanently removes your personal data. For any data request, write to contato@dividee.ai and we reply within 15 days.

7. Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and database access is controlled by per-user rules (RLS). Shared subscription credentials are end-to-end encrypted: each phone’s private key stays on the device (Keychain on iPhone, Keystore on Android), and neither our servers nor our staff can read them. We keep your data while your account exists. Receipts and records of shared expenses may stay visible to the other group participants, without your personal data, after your account is deleted. AI memory stays in the account when you start or delete a conversation on your device; it is removed when you delete the account.

8. Changes to this policy

If anything relevant changes, we tell you in the app. Last updated: October 2026.
